Since starting my collection of texture, I have realized that it will be a neverending file on my computer. This project was short, but it was instantly gratifying in that big amazing results happened quickly! Using our previous work with the use of word pairs, applying texture and color breathed life into the once black and white compositions. Several changes happened through this process. My word pair was Rise and Fall, but in the beginning stages it was also Fast and Slow. I knew my "Fall" was not a strong piece, but out of all four "Rise" was the strongest. It was noted that "Fast" actually looked more like "Fall" and so it was swapped out to create this end result. Once color was added, unanimously people decided that the complementary colors were the most successful. I used a close up image of glass for the texture of Fall, and a sheer fabric and the sky for Rise.
